People love the iPhone. And now that the iPhone 3GS has come out they of course want to update to the newer, better version. Most people want to have the best they can buy.
But people don't want to have to deal with AT&T. So they solve this problem buy “jail breaking”, or software hacking, their iPhone. Unfortunately it has become even more risky with Apples new software.
Apple has figured out what people are doing and it is getting harder to jail break iPhones. In some cases the iPhone 3GS can’t even be jail broken and even if it is, Apple can fix it with an easy patch. So what happens if you do manage to jailbreak your new iPhone 3GS?
When hacking or jail breaking, there are many problems that can occur. First of all, the software can become damaged leading to the inability to use standard functions of the iPhone. It can become open to viruses. Even some of the hardware can stop working, like the microphone becoming disabled. The list goes on and on with what problems can arise.
There are several occasions of Apple ending warrantees on jail broken iPhones and refusing service. You might be able to get them to reverse this, but there is a lot of red tape and hassle that comes with it. In some cases Apple as permanently disabled iPhones! So who really wants to waste the money they have spent on a new iPhone 3GS?
If you read blogs on how to unlock iPhones, and esspesially the iPhone 3GS, you will always see a long stream of people asking for help because it didn’t work, service cutting in and out, not even getting a signal, home button doesn’t work, and plenty of other annoying problems.
Once you have done as much research as I have on the subject I’m sure you will have the same opinion as me. This is why we only sell Factory Unlocked iPhones. It’s just not worth it to jailbreak and iPhone! There are so many things that can go wrong that can cost you hundreds of dollars.
Factory unlocked means that they were never locked in the first place. Since they were made they have been open to use on any service provider that takes a SIM card. Everything works, they are still sealed in the box and come with warranties. Play it safe, do some extra research and you will find exactly what you are looking for.
