Wholesale electronics articles
Scammers Beware!
How to avoid being scammed buying wholesale electronics.
There is nothing more frustrating then being scammed. Well maybe there is, but it's at the top of my list. All of that hard earned money going down the drain, or rather, into some sick minded individual’s pocket!

With the above having been said, MediaUnlocked.com has decided to publish an article aimed at
saving you the heartache and cash of accidentally falling into the traps that scammers have put out there.

1. Scammers as a general rule do not accept payment methods that are secure, such as: Credit Card, Paypal, Cash on delivery, Pick-ups. They usually will not allow samples of the product to be ordered on top of this.

Scammers will
usually promote the use of unsecure payment methods, such as:
Western Union, MoneyGram, Bank Transfer.

They will rattle off all sorts of reasons as to why they cannot and/or will not accept secure payment methods. Our advice is
if you have never done business with the company/person then do not do business unless they will sell you your first order AT LEAST using a secure payment method.

MediaUnlocked.com does regualry do business using unsecure payment methods, but only once a mutual trust has been established between us and our supplier/s.

2. If the price is too good to be true, it is:
Within every industry there are set prices as to what you can aquire things for. Obviously the set price varies from industry to industry and item to item within the item’s industry.

The idea that one company can sell something to you for
$100 and then have another company offer it for $40 is absurd. The person selling it for $40 is most likely:

• A scammer
• Has stolen it from the factory producing the item
• Is trying to sell you a replica item and pretending it is an authentic item

(For example, you WILL NOT find an authentic iPhone 3GS for $300)

3. ALWAYS do proper research on the company/person you are doing business with, things such as:

• Google the company name and read any literature that was created by people not within the company
• Google the company name and put the word “scam” after their name as see if any articles pop up. If so read the articles
• Do they have a website? Does the website look decent? Is the English and grammar decent? People who are serious about their business make sure their image is professional
• Find how to verify the authenticity of the product in question.

These are the main tell-tale signs, we hope this helps you avoid these pesky scammers. If you need any help in sussing out a scammer you are more than welcome to contacts us and we will do our best to help!
